Being Present - July 2008

The following was channelled while I was waiting for my husband after we had arrived on our 6-hour drive up to Perth summer 2008 and Hilarion came in and I had some questions for him. One of them was about being present.

Why was I so out of the world over that day? I felt so spaced out I couldn’t think, which was not like me at all. On the previous afternoon it kicked in and I couldn’t even think to pack. Greetings, I am Hilarion, today I come to talk to you about Presence. Most on Earth are not fully present in the body. If you could look at a dial from 0 – 100%, where would you be?

We all go in and out of consciousness from time to time during the day. A memory will take us back in time to the event... when we do that we become less present. Noticing that we are in a daydream state while we are transported back in time, this would be a small percentage lost. However, if we are continually doing it, the percentage will grow and we will become even less present. Read On...

How the Retreat Came To Be

The dream had been floating around in the back of my mind ever since I experienced the magic of the Soul Safari run by Courtney Ward and Chris Stormer in South Africa. It’s almost 3 years ago now, but those special moments had planted the seed of wanting to create something similar in Brazil. But I had no idea how it could ever come to be. I just put my request out to the Universe and trusted that it would manifest all in perfect time.

Her new book on the spiritual aspects of infertility, pregnancy and childbirth will be released later this year, and next week we'll be publishing the first part of her feature on the importance of presence.

Global: It’s all about the inner planets this month, with Venus and Mars together throughout June in the sign of Taurus, bringing a much more earthy and sensual feel into the group dynamic. There should be a bonding of people; this combination is healthy for all types of relationship and romantic development. But the new Moon on the 22nd is opposite Pluto, indicative of some type of metaphorical scalpel, sudden incision or ending – probably quite sudden and dramatic. And the full Moon on the 7th is squaring Saturn, but this is bringing the beginning of the end of the pressure that so many people have been under since October. The tide is turning, but don’t expect a quiet month.

ADDENDUM 31/05/09 – the first couple of weeks are comparatively tame, a number of endings with the full Moon but nothing too serious I hope. The full Moon on June 22 is a kick backside Moon, the final eliminator in readiness for the eclipse of July 22. It is a turbulent month, but it is final jockeying for position in readiness for the ‘off’. It is the transition point between what I call the correction part1 and part 2.
