Mayan Day Out of Time Event

The Earth Heal Geoharmonic Research Project will be hosting a group distant healing event on Friday 25th July, starting at 2 pm local time in Brazil, or 5 pm GMT/UT, and continuing for about 3 hours. All people and animals everywhere in the world are welcome to join this event on a donation basis for those who are able to, and on a pro bono basis for those who are unable to make a donation.

July 25 is the 365th day of the year of the Thirteen Moon Calendar, an harmonic timing standard that measures the year in thirteen even months of 28 days each, a perpetual calendar of 52 perfect weeks, making a total of 364 days. The 365th day, the "Day Out of Time", is no day of the week or month at all, but truly a Day Out of Time.
For this reason, this special day is observed as the day to cancel debts, to pardon and forgive, and to celebrate life, community, love, universal forgiveness, atonement and purification, through art and culture. The day has been celebrated since 1992, and was proposed by Jose Arguelles, author of The Mayan Factor, and originator of the 1987 Harmonic Convergence World Peace Meditation, with his partner, Lloydine.This global event is regarded as a catalytic launch-pad for the year to come.

Universal Brainstorm!

A couple of days ago myself and Universally Rio's designer got together over the internet for a brainstorming session!
September sees us celebrating our First Anniversary and we will be re-launching the website and redefining our visions for the future. The site will become much more active inbetween newsletters and our restructuring will ensure a continual flow of inspiration, information and healing... while still honouring the unity and high intent of our family and the special space we have created. It's all very exciting, but for now, I will keep you in suspense over the details!
I still think it is amazing that myself and Marten were even able to talk face to face with each other, despite living on different continents! As you can see, it's not always been about work!

Isn't technology wonderful, keeping us all connected and close, even when geography seemingly separates us.

Anniversary!

Ten years... yipeee!! In amoungst all the preparations for sending out UR's July/August newsletter, my husband and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary!
What a party we had! We really wanted to celebrate and share it with our nearest and dearest in Rio. And so, Eloi's immediate family put on a great lunch for us, washed down with gallons of ice cold beer ....and then later in the afternoon, it was cake time. With sparklers on top and a pink '1' and a blue '0' we jointly blew out the candles to cheers, clapping and shouts of 'parabems' which is congratulations in Portuguese. The corks from the bottles of bubbly popped across the room and we toasted to the next 10 years. It was way into the night before we eventually crawled home.
The next day was very subdued and we both swore we would never drink again but... we were just so happy!

Yes, Universally Rio is live for July and August! Welcome to our latest edition and a very special welcome to our newest members Paules and Jonathon. We have already received responses from as far and wide as Australia and the UK and it really is wonderful for us to receive your feedback and to hear from you. Do take your time to explore our pages and to get to know us, and now you can even write in to us with your thoughts, comments and questions and have your letter included in our new Letters page. Our new Book Review page is also open for you to send in a review of a book that really touched you or you can invite reviews for your own book too.

Looking ahead, September will be an extra special edition because we are celebrating Universally Rio's First Anniversary and we have some exciting changes planned, including a relaunch of the website which will enhance and define our visions for the year ahead.

Solstice Update from Earth Heal

Greetings from Edna to everyone at Universally Rio, and I hope you had a wonderful Solstice!

It was an honour for me to be able to facilitate another planetary distant healing event for 208 participants around the world on Solstice 20 June, with the assistance of five surrogates on different continents, anchoring the incoming healing energy and releasing unneeded and disharmonic energies on behalf of the collective energy field of the planet as a whole.
Since the event last Friday, many of the partipants have sent in feedback about their experiences during and after the event, which can be read at this link.
For days before the event, and especially over the Full Moon of 18 June which preceded the Solstice, I felt very energised and needed hardly any sleep, and this continued for days afterwards as well. To read some feedback from me and the five surrogates, please go to this link.

And in case you haven't seen it yet, take a look at the magnificent crop circle which appeared in a Wiltshire field on Solstice morning, 20 June, the latest in a series of beautiful formations which began to appear in April, at the start of the crop circle season in the UK. The Solstice distant healing treatment...
During the treatment process, there were some steps for all the participants, some for just the animals who were included, some for the children, some for the women participants, and some for all the men who participated.
A lot of work was also done for the collective energy field of the planet as a whole (including the clearing of some "old programming" going back hundreds of years) and there was an emphasis on the release of dissonant energies related to the effect of " war crimes", from the collective energy field.

I will be posting more detailed info about what came up in the event here and on the Earth Heal Blog in the next couple of weeks. For now, just to mention that during this event there was some emphasis on working to clear disharmonic energies for the following countries: South Africa (especially related to the recent explosion of xenophobia), Palestine, Germany and the USA.
It's always a surprise to me to see what actually comes up in a treatment, despite the planetary issues I may be personally concerned about at the time, as an individual human being. During these events, the ethic guiding us is that one cannot attempt to "play God" when facilitating planetary healing work, or make the decision as logical human beings what aspects of the planet to focus on, which countries and so on. All planetary work is undertaken step by step, only according to the guidance received during the treatment process from the collective Higher Self (the morphic field of the planet as a whole), and the beings of light who work with us.

Self Portrait!

Monday 23rd June was a great day! I taught a 1-Day Universal Reflexology workshop in Rio. I love teaching. Not only is it a pleasure to be able to pass on such a special method of reflexology, but it is so fulfilling to see people walk away at the end of the day, knowing that there is more to their being and health than just their physical body. My workshops are constantly evolving and further to teaching how to apply these reflexology techniques, I am now helping people get in touch with their inner being, and become free to be themselves. During lunch, all the ladies went out to a nearby cafe and I had a little party on my own! I put on some uplifting music, danced around the room and was laughing at myself as I tried to take my own picture against my 'Emotional Feet' chart on the wall! It's so much fun to be alive and enjoy what you're doing!!

Winter in Rio!

The Solstice on Friday heralded the start of winter here in Rio, and after a glorious Saturday, the clouds came in and winter really arrived. I actually really enjoy a chilly wind and cloudy grey sky in this city ... maybe it's becuase I know the sun will be out again, even if it does take a week or so to reappear!
I still love going down to the beach though. The sand is damp and cool and the sea has a darker greyish green tinge to it, rather than the clear, bright turquoise waters of the summer months. The magnificent breakers still come crashing in to shore and more often than not, I will be the only one down on the sand, enjoying her beauty, revelling in her refreshing wind and cleansing rain....

Except for the hardened tourists who just can't resist a quick dip!

Earth Heal's Summer Solstice Event

Edna Spennato invites you to join Earth Heal and the Solstice Distance Healing Event on Friday 20th June! The Solstice healing event will be happening at 13:30 local Brazilian time, or 16.30 GMT/UT on Friday June 20, to set the energy for participants for the moment of Solstice, which occurs 7 and a half hours later.

The June Solstice is also referred to as the summer solstice (and longest day) in the northern hemisphere and the winter solstice (and shortest day) in the southern hemisphere. This is the time when the sun is at its furthest point from the equator – it reaches its northernmost point at 23:59 GMT/UT on June 20, and the earth's north pole tilts directly towards the sun.
And although it's only one minute before midnight, it still places this year's June solstice on June 20. This is the first time since the year 1896 that the June solstice has occurred before June 21. 2008 is a leap year. Without that extra day in February, today's June solstice would have fallen on June 21. From this date forward, all leap years for the rest of the 21st century will feature June 20 solstices.

Universally my birthday!

What a wonderful way to spend my birthday! I was in Norwich on May 28th, staying with the lovely Angela Sellens-Drake and her husband Jonathan, along with Chris Stormer and Kath Forster on the start of their UK tour. After a bracing walk along the river we were revitalised from our travels and it was time for tea. From out of the cupboard a homemade banana cake appeared and Chris and Angela ceremoniously decorated it in candles and the numbers 24 .... a positive version of my new found 42 years of age. And then with a huff and a puff I blew out the candles .... well, actually it took me two goes, but I still made a wish ... and then we all relaxed and enjoyed Jonathan's wonderful cups of tea as we polished off the cake. The cake was delicious and the champagne that followed was pretty special too!

Huge hugs and thanks to everyone for making it such a special and memorable birthday.
