The Correlation Between Wealth and Metaphysics

by Jason McDonald

What is the correlation between wealth and metaphysics? The short answer to this question is ‘everything’. Let us explore how we tie the two together.

With the advent of the internet, no longer do we have an excuse not to learn more and become more aware. There is very little today that is considered esoteric or unknown in mystery. Hence why education is literally so important, if we do not gain new knowledge and learn, life will pass us by. A very popular saying, which we will paraphrase as the definition of stupidity, is “When we continue to do what we have always done and expect a different result”.

Now you can decide today, “Am I going to play victim to a life of misery or am I going to make the effort to grow?” It is entirely up to you.

Another powerful affirmation to change your mindset when practiced daily is, “If it is to be, it is up to me.”

Many people - in fact almost 97% of the population - will not acquire financial freedom... and they wonder why. They blame their job, the government, their age, or their parents... and the list goes on. Then there are those get-rich-quick schemes that see you lose the money as quickly as you get it. And we have all heard of those who win the lottery only to have nothing left two years later.

So the question still begs: why is the majority of society always in a rut or struggling?

To fix it, we can get inspired by a motivational speaker - although this is only as good as the action you take afterwards, as well as the new habits you develop to change that poverty consciousness. Those that have felt inspired as a result of attending a motivational speech or seminar can testify to having that ‘Seminar High' and feeling that you will now conquer the world and change your woeful ways. Then 30 days you look back and see that nothing has changed.

A funny statement I have instilled in my own children is the perfect reflection of procrastination. It goes like this: “Should've, could've...” and my kids finish it off with “Didn’t!" So, they have already learnt the value in 'too much talk and no action' breeding just that: nothing. But that's not to say all ill-fated events are a result of procrastination (though it can contribute to many regrets in life).

The hit movie The Secret leveraged what it calls the Law of Attraction, and has created a global movement in awareness. No longer do we leave things to chance, yet there were two major points missed in The Secret. Just putting it out there alone will not attract the riches and life one desires, so to start you on your journey I've defined the three major steps in which to apply.

Specifically define what you desire:
Many people know exactly what they do not want, be clear about what you do desire. Be realistic: if you are 5' tall will you really make it into the pro basketball league? Probably not, though do not limit your natural abilities. If you desire money don't just say 'lots', be specific.

Become totally focused on your desires:
Create a dream board, set goals, become emotionally excited, gain support from likeminded friends, family or groups that will encourage and challenge you to reach your goals. Consider becoming a part of a Mastermind Group. The internet is a great place to find local groups, or to even start your own.

Take action:
The rich did not become rich for no reason. No different if you are looking for a life partner, you need to put yourself into a position where you will be found. It is no good sitting at home waiting for the person of your dreams to come knocking on your door. Wealth creation needs the same discipline: some of the greatest corporations were built on the back of somebody taking action. We can stand back and admire great works of art or architecture to know this was but a seed of imagination in someone's mind.

So whilst it is equally as important to put it out there into the ether and beyond the physical world, you need to listen to the language you're using when manifesting your dreams. To say, “I never have any good luck,” will give you just that, a lifetime of bad luck.

Belief in a higher realm to take care of you is far too complex to expand upon here, but for those of you attuned or with a greater awareness, you will appreciate what I mean about having that complete belief and trust that your requests will be taken of.

I have only scraped the surface here and encouraged you to develop the life of your desires, not of your wants. To want something means you will spend a life of wanting.

Be clear on your desires and take action.
